This will be my official first blog entry. I will be learning about this blog stuff as I go along. I look forward to the advice of those that are more familiar with blogging.
I will be mainly writing about my experiences as a self-publishing comic creator, and sometimes working freelance on some other books. I have been self-publishing, off and on, for a few years now. I thought, with the start of a new launch of Hope 7 that this may be a good time to start writing about many of my experiences that are involved.
I hope that my experiences will maybe help those in a similar situation, those curious about comics, and those just interested in this creative process. Some of these experiences, I’m sure, will be good and bad and somewhere in-between. Perhaps the therapeutic nature of a journal will be helpful to myself as well. But why should I be selfish… why don’t I let others that may find help, encouragement or support see this as well. I have never been the best correspondent through e-mail, so this can also be a way for me to keep in touch with everyone.
Hey, Tim!
I had received word of the Hope 7 blog via the mailing list from the website.
Sorry I haven’t commented earlier.
Thought I’d at least drop a line to say, “Howdy!”
Good to hear you’re still hanging in there with your Hope 7 efforts.
I think the blog direction you’re going in will be a positive step, especially in terms of networking further.
Of course, I’m no blogging expert, even though I have three blogs! But for all my lame efforts at maintaining ANY of those three blogs, and of course reading blogs of related interests, I’ve met some pretty cool people and some helpful people.
Um, occasionally there’s spam and we delete.
Whatever.
Best of luck and I look forward to reading your about your efforts and experiences with Hope 7.
